How long, on average does it take for products to get into Froogle from Gbase? Is this time influenced by how frequently you update the Gbase feed, eg if the products aren't in froogle yet and you update the Gbase feed, the 'timer' starts again?

I think you just need to submit in Froogle and you get listed if your content is relevant to the search.

It used to take weeks, but now I think it's a matter of hours.

I don,t think Google is going to take it down, because the program has some potential

How does ranking (SERPs) in Froogle differ from those in GBase.

First, I agree with Websiteideas above, it seems to only take hours for products to move from GBase to Froogle. I accidently included the wrong url to my images in a feed update yesterday. Later that night those images were in both GBase and Froogle. At about 6:00 pm I sent a corrected feed with the correct image paths and by morning both GBase and Froogle were showing them.

    However...

The ranking between the two sites differs dramaticlly.

For my top key phrase On Gbase...
ONLY My products are shown on the first three pages. Thirty listings of thirty listings are mine! On pages 4 & 5 I have some listings, and I have about 90% of the listings on pages 6 - 10.

I'm not sure why I dominate so much, other than having a well structured feed that uses keywords in the title and descreiption.

    OK....

On Froogle for the same keyword, I have 1 listing on page 10, 1 on page 11, and the rest are to deep to find.

Does anyone know why this would be?
Does froogle have a completely different algorithm ?
Is it a timing thing?. Does Froogle update to reflect GBase "every so often"?

    What are your thoughts?
