Hi, I am looking for a software with the following features: Members signup free and get their own page generated with the possibility to design their own layout. The page includes sections for videos, photos, music, articles, blog, website links and several text boxes. The page should offer RSS feeds on every section. Also needed is a contact me form with an internal mailing program without the possibility of mass mailing other members. Visitors can view everything on member pages and can rate other members pages (after creating their own account). On the main page the 20 highest rated profiles are displayed updated constantly. Also needed is a page showing the latest member profiles and a page with all member profiles as well sorted by ratings first and than by date added. Everything should be fully searchable with the option to select a search in specific sections only. I am not after a MySpace clone since I don’t want members to have friends lists or be able to send mass emails or bulletins to other members nor do I want a comment section on the page. Is there a software like this of the shelf or is someone willing to create one at a reasonable price? Thanks for your help!
Seems like you need a myspace (kind of) clone. Plenty of these if you search for them. Yes it's possible but you're hitting the high XXXX range for such a script if you need it developed for your site.
It will have some myspcae funtions but the end result will be quite different. Looks very interesting and I will use it for another project of mine but unfortunately unsuitable for this project. Thanks for your help
