Do I have to create a special sales page for clickbank or can I somehow just use the regular order form on my website? I'm totally confused at how clickbank works and how I can adapt my site to clickbank and gain new affiliates.
I don't think you need to change anything. The order form will just goto... hxxp://1.publisher.pay.clickbank.net (or something along those lines). Not sure how well your page will convert though.
My page converts great. About 4% . Are you saying that I have to change the order page on my web site? Because I can't do that. What would happen to the rest of my clients? I don't want all my sales going thru clickbank just the new affiliates I pick ip there. I'm still confused.
Well, if you want the orders to go through clickbank, you have to have the order button link to hxxp://1.publisherid.pay.clickbank.net. If you want to keep your old system and knew one, you'll have to put it in a subdirectory. And a lot of affiliates won't promote something like that due to the fact that "curious" buyers will leave the subdirectory and head back to the main page and they lose a commission.
Thanks that makes sense. So what do you suggest? I have a going business and I'm certainly not going to turn all my sales over to clickbank. I should just set up one of those one page sales letters I see all over click bank on another domain ? Correct? That seems to be the only choise. How much does it cost to build one of those sales pages?
If you build it or pay somebody to build it for you? You'd only need to pay for hosting and a domain name if you made it yourself I believe.
Lasvegaspi Clickbank is not going to work for your product/sales page ... If you use Clickbank as your payment/affiliate processor, you have to deliver a digital product, that can be received almost instantly. For example your Reverse Email Trace estimated turn around time 24 hours to 14 days. Clickbank won't allow that.
