They haven't unlocked mine. And two of the auth. codes on my sites are not real auth. codes. Since I have mine hosted elsewhere, do you think we can ride this out? Our websites shouldn't "disappear" if registerfly folds (assuming your domain doesn't expire in the next while).
When you push your domain name to another Registerfly account, you need to check a box along the process that says "Change WHOis/Contact info on the names being pushed". I hope this will reveal you authorization code.
Godaddy also offering special service for domain transfer by providing exclusive offer to registerfly customers; https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/transfers/registerfly.asp
All my domains are still locked, "Status: Transfer Prohibited" This has Class Action Lawsuit written all over it.
Ooooops, I guess I'm lucky then. I couldn't find the auth codes too in their bloody screwed system, then I pm'ed to iatbm (a member here), and he told me where to look for them, cheers to him It's under edit whois info, I managed to transfer all my 5 domains to DynaDot this week. Thank God for that, and don't try to phone these fly ppl - save your money, I tried that 2 weeks to their 2 different numbers. p.s: I still got $10 in regfly account well, I wish them a delicious trip to McDonalds.
okay...now are they insane? their icann certification was canceled and this is on main page after logging in:
Obviously, they will not unlock them, you need to do it manually by clicking on your domain name and scroll down to find "Domain Status" That is not an offer because your need to add $0.25 ICANN fee and you can tranfer your domain for a flat $5 fee to MyDomain, www.mydomain.com/reginfo.php
That doesnt mean anything to a company that isnt going to exist after the idiotic management and the mass-lawsuits finish killing it.
okay...so i unlocked domain @ regfly at namecheap i transfered it bout 24 hrs ago.....it said it takes bout 3 hrs to transfer....but still nothing :|
Still playing about eNom resellers.. If I had a single domain with RegisterFly and got blown like many have, only thing I'd do would be transferring away from eNom. It's them to be held responsible for not suspecting a reseller of upcoming fraud in a reasonable period of time before too late.
Sorry. What I meant was eNom is the company above RegisterFly and Namecheap which are among its resellers. RF and NC are by coincidence registered as domain names on very close date to each other. I say, it may be a simple coincidence. But once so many people get burnt by an eNom reseller, I would honestly give it some before I ever thought of going back to register my new domains with them. Not that I had anything against eNom but they truly need to do some home work.
I believe this was put just to fix the f*cked message, because either way doesn't work Maybe it's here where the problem resides. After Registerfly ceased its relationship with eNom my domain names where gradually renewed and in every single time the status was "transfer from eNom to Registerfly". Because they don't longer said eNom I've have no problem getting the codes, unlocking and transferring even before ICANN cancelled the accreditation. So do a whois to find if your domain says "ICANN Registrar: ENOM, INC.", if so it's more likely you are in trouble. Or in other words, there is also something wrong behind eNom, do you remember its mischievous email to attract customers? On a side note, after Registerfly's accreditation was removed, it has taken a few hours complete the transfers, at least Dynadot is doing it in so short time.
I had tried over 2 weeks to transfer over 100 of my domains from RegisterFly and was successful with majority of them. I wrote about my problematic domains (such that had RRP or blank auth code) to . I know it sounds a little bizarre, but today, after 72 hours since sending my email, I received reply telling that my domains have authorization codes available. And it was true. I still have one domain with mixed-up whois information and some domains younger then 60 days (I am not worried about the young ones) at RegisterFly. Please use following form when writing to Oscar: 1. Domain name: 2. RegisterFly account name: 3. Associated email address: 4. Brief explanation of problem: 5.
