Choosing Gold Bars or Gold Coins

When you’re investing in physical gold like gold bars and gold coins, you’ll need to deal with the premiums on these investments. The premium is the value above the gold’s current value that you must pay when investing in physical gold. Premiums fluctuate based on a number of market factors and can go up and down from one day to another depending on the economy, the availability of gold, and the demand for gold. The premiums for the newer gold coins are lower than the premiums for older and rarer gold coins. This makes sense, since it is common to pay a premium price for older coins, stamps, and other collectible investments because of their increased value. If you buy gold coins in bulk lots, you may be able to get an attractive premium that rivals the premiums placed on gold bars.

There are actually benefits and drawbacks of investing in both gold bars and gold coins when they are compared to each other. Buying gold bars is one of the simplest ways to invest in gold. Once you have invested your money, you will receive physical gold that can be kept in your own possession or in a secure storage location. The premiums are lower when compared to the value of the gold, so this minimizes the cost of investing in gold bars. One of the major drawbacks to investing in gold bars is that the liquidity is reduced. It is much easier to sell a few coins than it is to split a gold bar in half or in fourths. If you choose to sell your gold bars, you may also need to find a bigger dealer that will buy them since many individual investors have not had any experience dealing with gold bars.

Gold coins are much more liquid than gold bars, as you can sell just one or up to hundreds of your gold coins if you need to generate cash quickly. Gold coins are also more competitively priced than their gold bar counterparts because they are mass produced. Instead of painstakingly working on a bar of gold bullion, governments can produce many gold coins at one time, reducing the costs of production. Selling gold coins is often easier than selling gold bars because many more people can recognize gold coins and understand their intrinsic value than the number of people who are familiar with gold bars. One of the drawbacks of investing in gold coins is that even small changes in the premiums can affect how much the gold is worth and what the demand will be if you are selling coins. All of these factors must be considered when you’re making the choice between gold bars and gold coins, as your decision will be based entirely on your own investment objectives and personal circumstances.

Golden Retriever Puppy: The Perfect Addition to Your Family

The lovable golden retriever puppy is one of the best companion dogs out there. Bred to be loyal, kind, and full of energy, this beautiful golden dog is an excellent family pet. If you're thinking about buying or adopting a golden retriever puppy, you should know what to expect. Read on to find out about the physical characteristics and temperament of this faithful companion.

    Physical Appearance

A golden retriever puppy comes in varying shades of gold, ranging from very light in color to a dark gold that is almost like an Irish setter's coloring. The coat of this dog is water repellent and helps to keep the puppy safe from bad weather. The outer coat is firm, almost course, and the under coat is denser and has soft hair. If you're thinking about adding a golden retriever puppy to your family, keep in mind that they shed quite a bit and you'll need to brush your new friend regularly and vacuum often to keep up with the hair loss.

    Character & Temperament

The golden retriever puppy is loving and loves to please its human family members. These dogs are friendly and polite with others and they are very smart. If you want to get a golden retriever, keep in mind that you will need to spend a lot of time with your new puppy. Golden retrievers become destructive when they are left alone for periods of time, so you should not get one if you are at work all day or frequently travel for your career. You'll find that your golden retriever puppy is extremely friendly and wants to make friends everywhere you go. From greeting children in the park to wanting to make friends with every dog it meets, the golden retriever breed is one of the friendliest out there.

    Grooming Needs

Because of the frequent shedding of the breed, you'll need to brush your golden retriever puppy daily. You'll need a brush with firm bristles. If your golden retriever gets muddy or dirty from playing or swimming, you can wash it with a mild shampoo. Keeping up with your dog's grooming needs can keep its coat looking lustrous and contribute to continued good health. Grooming time can also be good bonding time for you and your golden retriever puppy.

    Health Concerns

Golden retrievers are prone to certain medical conditions as a breed. Skin allergies are common and they are also prone to cataracts and hip dysplasia. You should be careful not to overfeed your golden retriever puppy because this breed can gain weight easily.

    Exercise & Play

Golden retrievers are a very active breed and need regular exercise to stay happy and healthy. Fetching, running, and other exercises are beneficial. If you live in apartment, be sure to take your golden retriever puppy to a local park or dog run so it can get the exercise it needs.

    Choosing a Savings Program

If you’re like many people, you have questions about many of the savings programs available. From basic savings accounts to savings bonds, there are a number of options available, all of which have different tax consequences and savings benefits. This makes choosing a savings method difficult for many people who are not financial professionals. Before you can make a decision, you should have a basic understanding of the different types of savings available. Whether you want to use a bank to hold your savings or you want to purchase bonds or treasury bills, you need to know what’s good about them, what’s bad about them, and how you can save the most money. Use this two-part series to learn about the types of savings and choose the best ones for your family.

    Traditional Savings Accounts

Traditional savings accounts are one of the most widely-recognized methods of saving money for the future. Many financial institutions offer savings accounts that require small minimum deposits and small or no monthly minimum balances. While these savings accounts are a good starter for teaching young people to save money, there are better long-term savings options due to the low interest rates available. At one time, savings account interest rates were 2% or more. This helped people grow their savings and earn a good amount of interest depending on the amount of money in their savings accounts. Interest rates on savings accounts today are less than 1% at many financial institutions. Small account balances earn pennies in interest and large account balances don’t earn as much interest as they could if other types of saving were used. If you want to open a savings account despite these low interest rates, you can choose an account that will allow you to deposit a small opening deposit and keep a low minimum balance so you can use other types of accounts to have a good balance of available funds.

    Certificates of Deposit

Certificates of deposit (CDs) are another investment option with a low level of risk. CDs are really just a type of savings with a higher interest rate. Some CDs have interest rates of 5% or even more, making them a good return on your initial deposit. The minimum deposit for a CD is much higher than a traditional savings account. Many financial institutions require a minimum deposit of $500 or $1,000 for a certificate of deposit. This money is deposited for a fixed period of time. Some common terms are 3 months, 6 months, and one year. There are other terms available depending on the financial institution. As long as you keep your money in the CD for the fixed period of time, you will be able to collect the interest that has accrued. The only problem with having a certificate of deposit is that if you withdraw your money before the fixed period of time has ended, you may not be able to keep the interest and you may also end up paying penalties for early withdrawal. If you anticipate having an emergency where you need immediate access to your funds, a long-term certificate of deposit may not be your best option.

Equipping a Kitchen on a Budget

Make Your House a Home for Less
If you just bought your first home or are living in your own apartment for the very first time, figuring out how you’re going to make your place a home without breaking the bank can be a daunting task. The kitchen is one of the first rooms you need to equip since you’ll need to start preparing your meals as soon as you’ve settled in. Contrary to what late-night infomercials and famous chefs would have you believe, you don’t need to buy $500 kitchen appliances and expensive brand ingredients to stock your kitchen properly. There are many deals to be found if you know where to look.

    Local Thrift Stores

Your local thrift store can be a treasure trove of appliances and kitchen supplies that are yours for a very small asking price. While you may need to sort through some pieces of junk to find the real gems, you can often find perfectly good kitchen appliances and supplies in thrift shops. Some people make purchases and then decide they no longer want the items. If they can’t find their receipts or the store does not accept returns, they will often donate the items to a nonprofit organization like The Salvation Army so they can at least claim a tax deduction if they can’t get back the full price of their items. This means that you can find toaster ovens, teapots, and unique serving sets right in your local thrift shop.

    Dollar Store Bargains

The dollar store in your neighborhood may be a great place to start if you need kitchen items and you’re on a limited budget. Many dollar stores are filled with utensils such as spatulas, whisks, tongs measuring spoons, measuring cups, and other kitchen items. You can also pick up necessities like paper towels, dish soap, dishcloths, kitchen counter spray, and similar items for less than what other retail stores would charge you. Some dollar stores even carry food and cooking ingredients. While you may want to stick to the grocery store for your main ingredients, the dollar store can be a great place to stock up on inexpensive pasta, seasonings, and baking ingredients like sugar and flour.

    Yard Sales

Your neighbor’s house may be the perfect place to find much-needed kitchen items. Many people put on yard sales and garage sales during the summer, so take the opportunity to visit and find the appliances and items you need for your kitchen. In addition to small appliances like mixers and toasters, some yard sales may even have dishwashers and refrigerators available for sale. If you can find a model that’s in good working condition, you can save a lot of money by buying used instead of buying something brand new.

    Discount Retailers

Discount retailers often get marked-down merchandise from other retailers and sell it for much less than the retail price. Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and Big Lots are two popular discount stores in the northeast and they offer everything from cooking ingredients to small kitchen appliances. If you’re reluctant to buy used from a thrift shop or a yard sale, visit a discount retailer and look through their selection. You may be able to get what you need for as much as 80% off of the original retail price.

    Benefits of Article Marketing

    Free Publicity for Small Businesses

Article marketing provides a number of benefits for savvy business owners who choose to use this marketing technique. From better search engine rankings to increased visibility online, article marketing is one of the best ways to promote products, services, and programs for business owners who have a small marketing budget.

    Positive SEO Effect

Search engine optimization is the process of making a Web site more accessible for the search engines so that the site can be found, indexed, and displayed when users search for specific keywords. Search engine optimization (SEO) involves a number of on-page and off-page techniques like building links to the site being optimized, submitting the site to search engines for indexing, and using keyword-rich content to increase rankings.

Article marketing is an excellent SEO tool because it allows you to combine the use of keywords and link building to help you increase your Web site rankings. When you submit an article to an online directory, you are given the option of including a resource box, or author biography, with each article you submit. Within that resource box, you have the opportunity to include a link to your Web site. These links will point readers to your Web site and increase your overall traffic. You can also incorporate your selected keywords into your links so that you have a positive effect on your search engine rankings. For example, you can use HTML to format your links so that they include your keywords. If your keyword is “Las Vegas wedding planner,” you can format your link to read Las Vegas wedding planner instead of simply saying http://www.site.com.

Using your keywords in your links can help you to boost your search engine rankings for those particular keywords.

    Building Credibility & Expert Reputation

Article marketing can also serve as a way to boost your credibility and your reputation as an expert in your field. Think about the last time you bought a product or service and had to choose between two or more vendors. Wouldn’t you be more likely to buy from someone who had published several high quality articles than someone you’ve never heard of before? If your articles are high in quality and give readers the information they’re looking for, your credibility will improve and you will be able to develop a reputation as an expert in your field.

    Building Goodwill Among Prospects

Some business owners keep all of their knowledge to themselves because they’re afraid that giving it away will reduce the need for their products and services. In fact, the opposite is true. If you write articles and give your prospects the information they need, they’ll be more likely to buy from you if they find a need for the products and services you offer. Writing high quality articles that arm your prospects with the information they need to improve their businesses or personal lives is a great way to build a rapport and show how your products and services can help them.

    Building a Profitable Mailing List

Article marketing is an excellent technique to use if you want members of your target audience to sign up for your newsletter, e-zine, or e-mail list. Instead of including a link to your Web site in your resource box, link to the subscription page you use to get subscribers for your list. You can make an offer for a free special report or e-book in your resource box so that readers are convinced to click your link and subscribe for your list. As you build your list, you can continue to market your products and services to subscribers to help further increase your sales.

Do you write the articles yourself? Are the articles outsourced then proofread by you?
Do you allow for keywords within the articles (i.e. use "scoobie doo" 3 times, "charlie brown" 2 times)?
What would your rate be for 5 articles, 10 articles?

I write everything myself. #1 I have heard of nightmare results from outsourcing writing. #2 I would have to charge higher prices if I outsourced and then edited the articles. I do allow for keywords - see the "golden retriever puppy" example above. The keyword is golden retriever puppy and the density is 1.64%. I can adjust to higher or lower KW densities as desired by my clients. You can also see from the golden retriever sample that the articles are still readable even though I used keywords. They are not garbage keyword spam like many other keyword articles.

With this special offer, I would charge $30 for 5 articles and $60 for 10 articles. Bulk pricing begins at orders of 25 articles.
