Speaker recomendations

I need to buy some new speakers to go with my new Imac, does anyone have a good suggestion? I am looking for something in white or clear. What do you use? Is THX certified important?

 

I have Labtech, bought them from office max, they have surround sound and treble/bass adjustment, also a spot for headphones and a microphone.

 

Creative are good PC speakers and they arent that expensive i have a 5.1 speaker system but i cant tell yoou the model because i forgot what it is but Creative make some quality speakers

Yeah i agree creative are good speakers. But i also use a subwoofer - that helps alot.

Ive seen some phat amps..0nce i can connect them to the subwoofers and subs, there will be nothing but bass pumping out of this little mofo...

Okay, that's fine..There is no hurry. I am currently busy transforming our forums into an easier, more logical layout. But the PHPBB is giving me abit of trouble.

CREATIVE Inspire P5800 5.1 Black Speaker System

Its just $65 and sounds great like professional music systems.

 

I ended up getting the klipsch 2.1 pro media's. After researching on hundreds of forums this speaker gets the most praise, it is almost cult-like.

My imac has the 1/8th regular 2.1 jack, or optical audio output which confuses me because no-one know's anything about it. A regular 5.1 audio card wasn't an option for me too.
