Spammy landing pages of MaxBounty advertisers

I recently signed up and started promoting some MaxBounty CPA offers. There are a number that are pretty fun and should be of interest to my website visitors. But the landing pages for some of them are sooo spammy. When it starts out with big bold letters saying "You Have Been Specially Selected For This Offer" the visitor immediately tunes out and hits the back button. Those kind of pages don't convert.

I'm wondering, do most CPA advertisers have such spammy marketing pitches on their landing pages?

Yes, some of them have these kind of phrases.... But are you sure they don't convert? :) Test them a few days, and rotate the campaigns to see what converts.

It depends on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to build a quality site, I probably wouldn't risk turning off the user base with spammy promotions just to earn a few bucks. But if you are just driving clicks to a PPC landing page offer, it doesn't really matter.

I think it goes beyond that spammish slogan. Whats more important is the brand thats being used as an incentive and the demographic that viewing it. Consumers tend to look past small details when they see something they like/want.

    Marketing 101. lol.

I'm not sure why you think those types of pages don't convert.

There's a reason pages like those and long sales letters continue to be used, it's because they convert better than others.
