Spamming Question?

  1. #1
    If any body have a website say www.abc.com and now he made a new website www.cde.com with the similar content or put the same site on his new domain. Now he wannts to delete the files from his old domain and redirect that old domain to new domain. will be it be spamming??

    Nope, it definately wouldn't be spamming (I assume you're using the word in the context of spamming search engines with duplicate content pages - but it isn't spamming in any sense of the word as far as I know).

    Do a 301 redirect from the original site to the new sites and you should be fine.

    That is not spamming and I am thinking of doing something similar, I have a humor site with a sort of way off topic domain name and was thinking of moving it all over to a new domain name. Sort of hate to lose my PR 3 but I guess I could get that back with one update.

    To sum it all up, yup, that isn't spamming. unless of course, you won't delete the old files and redirect your pages. ;)

    i think if you remove the old site (change urls) and redirect to the new site that should be OK.

    As above said, you may not use 301 redirect but use it make your new site greater. :D good luck
