Spamming of my site

    Hello Friends,

I have a job portal site, working for my US client.
But the main problem i am facing is that when you search for my domain tag44 or tag44.com in Search engine than the third link appears of some idiot who writes some stupid spam content regarding my site. Earlier we do email marketing or cold calling to the employees in US for the job, but i am doing complete white hat SEO to promote my site. But i just want your webmasters suggestions on how to remove this spamming link from the search result.
Please suggest some good comments & help me out to overcome this big problem.

frankly speaking you can't do it :( Matt Cutts has clarified on this issue that it can solved only in two ways:

    1) Contact the person doing such things and ask him to stop.
    2) If he does not pay heed to your request then go for a court case.

Google too is helpless in such a situation.

You can not report it to Google as that website is no doing anything wrong. That website has an article published there that tells how tag44 sent spam mails to him. If tag44 is sure that they didn't send those mails, they can directly communicate to him..:)

no one can get any site out of googles index unless the court orders to do so...but if that negative comment site is hosted on foreign soil for u, it becomes even more difficult...so in any case, better way is reputation management...its too difficult coz in such cases u r not only fighting for 1 spot for yours but also willing all the 10 spots on top 10 to push ur negatives further on SERPs...the service is too expensive from $50000-100000...but dnt worry, i hav successfully done it for 1 of clients brand... i can help u out with the complete strategy or can directly give u a hand(of course not at $50000-100000...hehehe)...PM me.

There could be maximum 2 pages of your website in search engine rankings in Google for any keyword. Then how would you out rank it with your own pages..:)

I don't know what exactly u r expecting...but as a humanist,i must aware u that till u start using whatsoever solution u've got, the negative link will b stubborn on SERP n stick there with the same authority as your own site(experienced)...then it will be even more difficult to outrank that page...also may encourage few more of ur competition to do the same

Well, there r lots of techniques involved in reputation management..I doubt folk will disclose it in forum like place (if really worth) as ORM is expensively available and tough...but u still u can get a brief idea of it...just google it! (or PM me)

I would say don't worry about it... It's likely not worth paying an attorney for even an hour of their time...

But if you feel strongly about removing the guy's site from the SERPs because he is defaming you or slandering you and/or you business then get an attorney. Have them send the site owner a Cease and Desist letter. If they still do not take the page down then have your attorney file suit. As someone else mentioned, this can get tricky if they are in another country.

If you don't like that approach then there are other options.

If the guy in position #3 is the only 'negative' site then simply start spam links all over the web pointing to the other 'friendly' URLs in positions 4-11 using the link text "tag44" and "tag44.com". Over time doing this will cause the URLs currently in position 4-11 to out rank him for those two terms and push him off of page 1.

It really is not difficult. It just requires that you spend time/money generating links to other friendly sites with "tag44" and "tag44.com" as the link text. IMO that time AND money would be better spent on your own site, and ignore the moron that put up that page.

As I mentioned in another post yesterday, it's easy to make an escort service URL rank for an ex-GF's phone number simply buy throwing up a few links to the escort service URL with her phone number as the link text. Since a phone number is a VERY unique sequence of characters (like tag44) it takes very few links to have the escort service URL show up as the #1 result at Google when a user searches for her number... But I wouldn't do it... You never know when you might want her back!

Well start off page optimization to down this nagetive result on google. u have to create and build a lots of social networking and bookmarking profiles which'll be pointing to ur website. it'll take some time but atlast u'll find this link on 3rd or 4th page on Google SERP. Also submit ur website link in web directories.
