Just don't spam. Spammers are the bane of everything to do with the internet. Be one of the good guys (or girls) and practice good internet ethics.
I actually have written several articles on posting quality content within several mediums that can take a link from something people would call unwanted spam and place it into a category more along the lines of something beneficial. And yes, all of them mainly revolve around actually getting involved in the conversation. There is a HUGE difference between posting a link to something thats currently being discussed and just pushing some random URL that's only relevant tot he actual room itself. It would be like me posting a Google Adwords thread here in the Yahoo board based on the fact that Digital Point is a forum for webmasters. So thanks for bringing that up...heh, maybe it'll get a few of the spam supporters to change their habits a bit so they can move from "traffic" to actual quality and repeat readers. Though, if they are resorting to spam already I'm pretty sure their MFA sites are not worthy of being looked at anyway...
Emails, hosts, and many forums will though. Get yourself blacklisted, or get your ISP blacklisted, and I'm sure they will take notice. I've personally reported several instances to ISP's and in at least one case I had the person banned on the ISP level. If I ever bothered to check spam links I'd likely report them to their ad networks as well....but like I said, I've yet to click on spam (well, there was that one time, but it was an accident). Spam == BAD
Nice to hear new concepts like " permission based spam " . Spamming is for the people who want shortcut for short success . May be it will give you short term satisfaction but NEVER long term . So avoid it .
they will ban u and then ur renveue will be give back to publishers and u r just watching haha hah aa
Diminished29 is right you just have to learn basic SEO and it will be really fine and SEO is not a hard or tough thing its pretty easy and it will take you 0 to top other wise you will be banned badly...
Well said and totally agree, as a chat room owner spammers are the bain of my life, and probably one of the reasons why yahoo chat is so terrible now, and is going to eventually close due to this, if yor having to spam chat rooms to get people then there is defo something wrong with your strategy ! Woc
You'd better stop that bad habit of yours. I was once doing that a year before. it wasn't my intention to do PM Blasting and Yahoo chat spamming but its for my work. I have no choice but to follow the boss of course.
For christ sake. Dont do that, Yahoo chatroom cant benifit you that much. Unless your site has a chatroom. People are good and they want to enjoy yahoo chat by chatting. Don't break their happiness for just spamming your site.
spamming is a very bad idea in promoting your website..dont do it..instead promote your website using SEO and links building..
Actually because of the iCann Spam Act, Yahoo can have your website shut down. Yahoo has just started increasing their efforts in fighting spam.
