    what surprises me is the the difference of perception from competitors vs visitors.
    I personally had a problem here http://www.ysearchblog.com/archives/000095.html when Yahoo! asked for feedback over "how useable are our new results".
    Everyone was complaining about competitors spamming and the comments were disabled. The question is not what competitors like but how useful the SERPs are for the average web surfer.
