Spammer gets 6 years, + £1.6m

    Was just reading about this on slashdot, this guy made £1.6 for sending messages to, and I quote "thousands of email addresses".

    It kind of made me think, ive got at least 20,000 email addresses from my sites...does this mean I can make £1.6m (about $2.9m)?

    Would be nice wouldnt it! And I didnt even say no spam to anyone out of that 20,000!

    Anyone got some spam contacts? hehe
    Anyway, im not that evil...but can you really make that much out of thousands of emails? Seems a bit off scale for me...I was thinking you can make maybe $1 out of sending out 10,000 emails??? :) :)

    Depends on the market, and how well the list is tied into that market.

    That brought a smile to my face. Spamming is the ultimate annoying thing, just as bad as a dang cellphone going off in a theatre.
