Spam?

1) Are you allowed to have a friend use their own opt-in list to newsblast your web site? is this considered spam?

2) Can you get delisted for spaming your website? If so, please give me a example..

 

What do you mean by spamming your website?

 

I heard somewhere that if you put your link out there to much and to fast that you can get delisted, was wondering if this is true or not?

 

Yes you can use any methods to advertise your new site, including friends list.

No, you can't get banned from SE cause you spam people with emails they didn't asked for. Otherwise i'll start to Spam my competition.

is it an email list? if its an opin email list its not spam if you have an unsubscribe option, and anyway if its email it has no effect on ur serps like he said..

but i wanted to add be sure you have un subscribe so it wont be consider email spam

 

its a opt-in list from my friends website who opted into their website and not mine.

 

If its an opt in list then I think your friend should be able to mail out anything they want.
