iam not going to give you tips to spam google search engine results..!!! i just fount while i was searching for an entrence exam solutions key , to my surprice i found a site spam its way to top 2nd spot in this popular search key, the result page - search result page - http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=xat+2009+answer+key&btnG=Search&meta= (links not allowed for me) the spam site ranked at #2 the site - http://tinyurl.com/923z79 when i clicked the sites link all that i found was repeted keywords , the keywords where linked to the same page itself kinda tipical spam site , there was not even 1% usefulinfo over there. over here people discuss google penalisisn sites selling links thats too far guys , google cant even filter out spam results
I don't see the tinyurl.com site in top 20 result. One thing surely it's a small glitch and will never last.
the thats the link to the sites's page (copy n paste the link in your browser) the site is ratevin.com at #2 spot
How is this a SPAM site? I see some questionable practices on the site in the footer maybe, but it looks like a social bookmarking site to me.
if it exist, it will not be there for more than 5 or 7 days, and will never come in top 10 with this search.
During Google updates, I often see blackhat-built sites on page 1 results...whenever that happens, we just report these sites and then wait until Google became stable again
update guys check out www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=xat+2009+answer+key&btnG=Search&meta= now the spam site rateven(dot)com ranks at #1 spot there are time based queries which dies out in 5 days time like the exam result queries which exit only for few days social bookmarking site need not be spam site ...?? , the onwer posts stories which are from the the same site itself , does digg post stories that are in digg.com page itself....??? when i went aroung the spam site i found many spam post ranking high in google just becase its an pr3 and uses repeted text , is this all legal ???
If it's a spam site, then the only thing you can do is to report it to google. The rest is up to them on how they want to deal with the site. This is just one of the many instances you see nowadays with google search results.
google is the Big Daddy of internet. It'll close its loophole sooner or later and ban those who do not respect its policies
Once Google found the spam site will penalized. may be will take some time for finding bcz its not manual process
If it has duplicate content it will get penalized. From what I can see it's a social bookmark site, powered by Pligg, and it looks as though someone is submitting content that may be from other sites, nothing that others do when they submit their sites to Mixx, Digg, Technorati, etc. The stories on Digg are contained elsewhere, people submit them.
There's hundreds of such spammy results. For example a query for buy acai berry brings up a wikispace page as #1. It was all spam before and looks like it was reported, thus it's deleted by the wikispace owners now, but the ranking is still there. If it wasn't deleted I'm sure the ranking would be there for a long time to come.
The majority of spam sites are penalized by google I do not think this site will be able to maintain the #2 position for a long time.
