Googles policies (https://www.google.com/adsense/policies) have a section entitled "Site Content" that basically state that you cannot have a spam site for the purpose of getting search engine traffic and therefore clicks. However, these all relate to the site with Adsense on. What if you create a ring of spam sites to attract traffic, then link via one-way backlinks to your main site containing Adsense. Is this allowed? It doesn't seem to break any rules, and theoretically, they have no way of proving that those sites are your own. I'm playing devil's advocate here but just wondering what the situation is with this. Have people been suspended for this in the past? Or is it a good strategy?
Creating spam sites is never a good strategy, so don't do it. You're not going to get anyone on this forum telling you its "good" to create a spam site.
Not a good strategy. I've seen AdSense account suspended as result of creating spam sites to draw traffic and manipulate PageRank.
Basically a site devoid of any real content.. Can take many forms, but its purpose is simply gain serps rankings and then direct that direct that traffic to ad revenue mechanisms, ususally.
welcome comy you won't find a strict definition of what is and isn't a spam site, because almost no one agrees on the topic. you can probably get an idea of what google thinks is spam by reading their guidelines, though.
