SPAM problem...Please help!!!

    Guys, I need your help...I'm receiving hundreds of SPAM comments and I don't know how to stop this. I am using Simple CAPTCHA and I thought this will stop spammers, but it simply doesn't work! Please help me! Are there any other plugins I could use?

    Aside the captcha plugin, install the Akismet plugin because it helps a lot.

    Yup Akismet is really good. You should definitely use it to block spam comments.

    Enable Akismet plugin which is inbuilt.

    even with akismet you cant do anything about it. Just change settings in wordpress, so that comments are moderated and not auto approved.

    Use akismet
    captcha only useful for blocking bots i think

    If you don't like to disable the auto-approved feature then akismet is the best way to go.

    i also face this problem but now i have installed disqus comments and not i m not getting spam comments.

    Just don't auto approve your comments. That's why you are getting spammed. Spammers search for these type of sites. There are many threads in the link building section that target auto approved sites.
