    Hi,

I do affiliate marketing and promote others' products. I am looking for more products to promote and hoping that you will post your product here. But before you do, please read the following requests as anything other than that will not be considered...

    1. Your ebook has to be sold on ClickBank Exclusively (or at least this particular landing page has to have only one link to order - via Clickbank)

    2. The price for your book has to be no less than 45.00.

    3. You commision has to be 75% (anything less will be considered on case by case basis)

    4. You must have an upsell or OTO from which I will also receive comission of 75% (please describe your upsell here).

    5. Include a list of your keywords and emphasize your best converting keywords.

    6. Include your best Adwords Ad Copy (the one you personally split tested to get higher CTR).

    7. If you have a PDF document sort of like a White Paper or Case Study that is REBRANDABLE, please post it here too (make sure that you post a rebrander software too).

    8. Make sure that your sales letter falls within today's standards. Sales letters with the following LOGOS in highly visible areas will most likely be considered instantly - HackerSafe, TrustE, Thawte, VeriSign, Your Number, Your Email, Live Chat, Accepted Credit Cards logos.

    9. Make sure that your sales letter does not have any Ads by Google or any other Ad Network Ads.

    10. Please post your conversion rate per 100 targeted visitors. I will send 100 targeted visitors to your site - if your site can't convert as you say it is supposed to, then you will not receive any more visitors from me.

    11. Finally, make sure that there are NO SQUEEZE pages (eg. give me your email and i give you access). Small DHTML Pops are OK.

If you think that your site matches this description, then go ahead and post your information here. I will start promoting it as soon as I'll see that your site matches this description.

    Thanks,

    CageyBee

If a merchant has a list of great-converting keywords they've tested, it seems they'd have little incentive to give them to an affiliate. A general keyword list makes sense for ideas to promote along, but if they're trying to sell the same product with the same exact keywords, there's no real incentive for them to hand them out unless they're going to restrict other affiliates bidding on them.

Sending 100 targeted visitors to a site and looking for an exact number to convert into sales on a specific day or else dropping the traffic may not provide you with the best results as to a product's general effectiveness, given the flux nature of internet marketing, particularly eBook sales. I have days where one of my campaigns has converted at 1:5 and days where it's converted at 0:30 or so.

I'm sure you have great intentions, I guess I'm just a little unsure what incentive the merchant would have to give you all of those above items just to gain an affiliate (and competition, with exact keyword lists) - many affiliates get at best only what Clickbank and/or the merchant's standard affiliate page provides them (a few promo items, general conversion rates, and some general keywords for ideas) and manage to do pretty well.

    Just my two cents.

    I agree with Telmari.

Conversion rates are averages that should be collected over at LEAST a month's period. They do not always reflect daily conversions, and certainly do not reflect conversions per 100 absolute visitors.

For instance, my Domain Book product converts at around 3%-5% (depending on the traffic source), and some days I sell 10 products, and some days I sell very few.

You're also asking way too much from the merchant. I provide banners, buttons and promotional text, but most merchants hardly provide anything other than a keyword list.

If you're an affiliate, you need to stand out from other affiliates... the affiliate is supposed to market the product to their list, and shape their offer to match their demographic. This is how some affiliate make a lot of money.. it's not by just copying and pasting.

Hi and thanks for your concerns but,

I alredy promote products right now that fit into above criteria. I am looking for more merchants like that.

When I asked about a conversion rate, I wanted to make sure that a merchant needs to be honest. If you tell me that you convert 30 out of 100 visitors and if I send you TARGETED 100 visitors and get 0 sales, then you probably lied when you said that you convert 30. However, if you say that you can get 1 out of 100 at least, and if I send you 100 visitors and get 1+ sales, then you better believe that you'll get more traffic from me. Bottom line, don't lie, give me your HONEST numbers.

When I asked about best converting keywords, tha did not mean that these are only keywords that I will be bidding on. I have my own 50,000+ keywords. I just wanted to make sure that you personally know your best keywords and that you keep VIGOROUS track of your business. Basically, if you don't care - I will not care neither.

If you are not sure about your product then please don't bother. If you can't handle these requests, then go ahead and skip, because otherwise, your product is not profitable to promote for affiliates, because the market is highly saturated and CPC costs are high.

Once again, there are several mechants out there that fill these requests already.

I know that you want affiliates to promote your product, but I don't want to waste my time, traffic, money, and efforts on something that just not worth it.

You can try telling me that your book is the best out there, but if you don't give me what I am requesting, then promote it yourself, or look for others.

I'm not actually a merchant, and not trying to start a fight, just wanted to give some honest feedback to try to be of help. :)

Fair enough - but as I said, if someone says their product converts around 2/100 visitors and you send 100 visitors and don't get a conversion, it may not be the best product to promote, but it doesn't necessarily mean the merchant was 'lying' to you. The bottom line is that internet sales fluctuate from day to day.

Understood, if someone tells you they get 30 sales per 100 visitors and you try and get none, there's probably something wrong, but some flux is just normal in this business. :)

I can understand wanting the merchant to care about their affiliates, but I guess I don't see the connection between the merchant giving you their best converting keywords, and the merchant caring about their business. I could drum up a list of 10 highly converting keywords for any product yet not give a care about it.

Even further, I do some serious sales and make nice cash from merchants who haven't given me any keywords and I'm not even sure how often they check up on the business. But that doesn't hold me back from promoting a good product that converts into $$ for me.

Well, like I said before, it seems a little odd to tell someone that just because they don't comply with your requests that their product isn't profitable. (I would require an equally high list of standards from any affiliate I would give my best-converting keywords if I was a merchant)

Fair enough -- I guess all I'm saying is that in an ideal world, you'd get everything like this from merchants, but in reality, if you're serious on making more money online, you may be limiting yourself from some of the greatest money-makers ever simply by setting so high of criteria.

Not that there's anything wrong with that of course, I just wanted to emphasize some of the greatest money-makers for me personally have been those that I took a chance on, not having all the data for sure and not knowing for sure whether or not they'd be a profit or a loss.

My ebook "How to be Funny" is a one of a kind niche ebook that fits most of the criteria. However, I cannot do the latter part of your post for want of time. I guess it would not be too difficult for you to do that yourself.

    More details at: http://www.howtobefunny.net/affiliate.htm

    Good luck!
    Stanley Lyndon.

P.S.: PM me if there's anything I could help you with.

btw., My conversion rate from Jan to April had hovered between 1.5-2.5% and upto 6% for highly targeted visitors (like those searching for how to be funny).

There had been an unexplainable dip in May (read about 1%).

    Regards,
    Stan.
