Yesterday I got a spam comment on my blog, from the ip address 149.101.1.120. After a little research, I found that maybe the spam comes from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Is this real? Can this happen? How?

What did the message say? That's a little odd to receive forum spam from a government ip.

Hope I don't get banned for quoting spam...

    The spam comment is:

First an thought for those of you who are into converting online movies. I’ve used a surprising program named WebVideoRip for a long time to capture streaming videos from YouTube, Facebook and Hulu. This program lets you capture videos in automatic and semi-automatic mode and doesn’t require any more attention. webvideorip.com is where you can download a free trial version that will only record 3 minutes of video. WebVideoRip will also download and convert multiple movies ta the same time.

I waste 5 hours until at least found this interesting resource. I think I am here for a long time…

In all likelihood the spammers probably spoofed their IP address just incase anyone did try to trace it.
