I had a site which i sold on here around 2 years ago. It appears the contact form is being abused and has been for the last 3 months or so.

Im getting abound 30+ emails a day from this site, ive spoken to the new owner and sent various emails asking to remove my email address as the main contact reply - he appologised and said he would but im still getting all of these emails.

    What can i do?
Would it be legal for me to remove my email address form the contact form?

Please help ive had this email address for about 5 years i dont want to change it.

So you still have access to remove it?

If the person isn't doing anything about it then I don't see why you couldn't just do it. It's not causing any harm. But I wouldn't unless your sure they would be okay with it.

Or you could turn your spam filter onto maximum (depending on your email provider).

Oh okay. Well in that case that would be illegal. Hacking for any purpose is illegal.

Seems your intention is to avoid the e-mails you're getting from that site.. Rite..?

You can't really be blamed for hacking it, as long as you don't leave any footprints leading to you I say hack it.
