Never use your real email. Use freebie website such as hotmail, yahoo ETC and redirect them to your personal domain. Use the freebie for subscribing to newsletters or posting on forums and other public locations. If the account becomes spammed remove the freebie account and set another one up The US and Canada have the CAN-SPAM Act to help deal with spam violators. If you're having trouble with a spammer, report them to: ISPs, domain registrars, site hosts (i.e., free email hosts). Blacklists - usually volunteer-run.
