Spam Bots keep signing up on my forums

    I cant seem to make it stop. Spam bots keep signing up and posting on my phpbb3 forum.

    I set up a harder captcha code, and made users have to validate their account through email before they sign up. But they STILL get through.

    How can I stop this?

    I gave up on PHPBB... created an endless loop so that if spammers tried to sign up it just kept spitting them back to the first page. It's a real pain.

    Might I suggest if you are actually making money to give VBulletin a try.
