Spam bot

    Aight before posting the topic, i just wanna say "im sorry if this topic is in the wrong section"...

    ok now, can anyone tell how to prevent spam bots in forums?
    ive tried stuff like.. e-mail verification and all that crap they still manage to come >_<

    You're gonna need some kind of captcha system. The weaker ones, like ezgimpy are pretty well broken now. You can go with something like that if your site isn't likely to be a favorite target. If it is, you'll need to invest in some software and implementation. We can help with that if you need it- let me know.

    :mad: Man, I hate these sob's that help themselves to other peoples' web and mail servers. Gotta be a special place in hell for them
