South Korea wins against Greece by 2-0 - unexpected outcome!

I was surprised to see South Korea beat Greece by 2 - 0 in this FIFA 2010 world cup today. Check the report here:

Yeah, South Korea is one of those countries that will surprise you in sports. I remember in 2002 when they gave the U.S. a tough time in soccer.

 

yeah,,,seriously, all the players are awesome in it.

 

anyway, it is the fact...they have done it

 

I was expecting it as Korea played excellent football in recent time and they are underdog team for this World Cup.

 

They played excellent in yesterday's match.

 

Greece are a strange team. You never know how they are going to play.

 

First goal: Lee was at the right place at the right time.
Second goal. Greece player made a mistake. Korean captain capitalized it.

 

Yes we know Park always have more energy then any other players on pitch. He is really dangerous player during match ending time.

 

No surprise since i bet the Korea will win the game and they dont disappointed me....

That match was amazing, and althought Greece lost i really enjoyed it.

 

Its not unexpected though. Because South Korea are playing well, and they have talent such as Park Ji-sung and Park Joo Young in their squad. I'm certain that they will make it through the second round,

 

I don't think it was an unexpected win at all. What was surprising was when Greece won Euro 2004.

 

it was quite unexpected. I also thought Greece would easily win the game, they have done well int he past, they have more tradition, etc...
however, the Koreans played surprisingly well. so, it is hard to be shocked anymore
