'Yep, yo-yo knows the universe. Scientists, please pack up your bags and retire, the case of the universe and existence is taken care of by YO.'

    'We now know.'

'Oh yeah, and forget that you only have a small percentage of knowledge in your hands....because YO knows. Don't question how he knows it, he just does.'

dude you are posting a lot of words without saying anything

how exactly is having strong belief in something = "righteousness", with at least an implied right to privacy in this country , thinking that a decision about what is going on inside your own body is covered by that, is hardly 'Righteousness'

    what exactly defines 'Righteousness'?

is there one of yo-yo's post where he mentions that his views on abortion or any of his view points are based on "morality" because skimming the thread I don't see any.

but morality is not limited to the religious, and belief in certain rights and wrongs exist within all people

so what you are saying is that if an antheist thinks stealing or murder is wrong then he is not making sense?

You'll never have a chance to regret all the things you didn't get to do because of your "god", because when you die it'll all be over and everything you held back on over it will have been for nothing

Absolutely everything I say has meaning, just as everything you say has meaning. If you can't address them without asking questions that are already addressed, that is not my problem.

This is your own way of making your view look correct, rather than addressing what I'm talking about. The method of arguement disturbs me, not the particular opinions (per se).

If you could actually read what I wrote, and you thought it through, you'd understand what I meant. I did put it in a rather simple manner.

Are you a lawyer? Do I have to define 'is'?
To speak in righteousness, is to forment a moral perspective that is unquestionable. To dictate a morality. This is right, while that is wrong.

So!? That's not really what I'm after.

    Oh, man! *shrug*

You're like a hard walnut. You can't be broken. If you'd only READ!

Too many circles have to be rode for you to understand. Repeat, repeat, repeat...

Why is it that GTech and I can disagree on a subject (almost entirely), but he will understand my perspective? Does he have some sort of magical power to facilitate my view back to me with comments? I happen to think he's just paying attention, and he's being honest...but hey, that's just a guess.

Forget the subject ever came-up, I don't think you'll ever grasp the simple view.

What's the big deal? Its just a lump of lifeless tissue right? May as well feed it to hungry dogs, really. Right?

Hmmm..so miscarriages are treated differently. The intent of the mother decides whether its buried or burned like a piece of garbage. Interesting.

Update. Polls as to whether the abortion ban will pass are too close to call. At 8:00 PM the polls will close, and I'll update again.

And the ban was repealed by something around 56%, so abortion will remain legal for now

The 10 day grace period for emergency contraception for rape/incest victims did not seem to satisfy most of the public

I think it's likely that the next movement will be for legislation that will ban abortion as "birth control," but will have an exception for all rape/incest victims regardless of timing. It's still too early to tell though.
