South Brisbane (AU) Anyone get hailed on this arvo?

    Had a hail storm come through about 2:45pm this afternoon.
    Anybody have any reports of any damage?
    The hail stones were not that big where I am, but may have been bigger elsewhere.

    I've almost forgotten what hail is. I miss it.
    The only thing that falls from the sky (in Central VIC) is bird shit :(

    What camera did you use to record that? The HD looks pretty good.

    lol.. Yeah, I guess its not quite the same as hail aye :)

    It was actually a standard def cam I used, a Canon XL2 with a 16x lens. aspect 16x9 .. Didn't realize that I had it set to 50i fps instead of 25p, so once it was on the computer, I used Sorenson Squeeze to deinterlace it and scale it up to 1280 x 720p. (output as wmv 5000kbps)

    Even though it was standard def to begin with, I have found that YouTube seem to give HD content a higher priority when it comes to quality. even when you don't choose to watch it in HD.

    So yeah, I upscale all my content now :)
