    Hi,

I'm planning to start a new blog/website but I cannot understand where to get unique content for my website? If I start a blog (Ok I will start a blog rather, technical blog!! it's confirmed), it will need regular updates with various blog posts which includes pics beside quality content of few thousand words. I cannot hire anyone to do it for me, I have lots of free time and I wanna do it myself.

Could anyone of you tell where can I get quality content for regular updates of my technical blog? What are the sources we can use to collect the content? I need all possible ways if somebody can help me.

Many of you guys might be running various blogs including technical blogs; I would like to know where do you collect content/latest news about say mobile, laptop, desktop, camera, electronic items from.

    Please help me.

    Thanks in advance

Most technical blogs I see heavily cover new products and developments. Watch for press releases on new items/products and try to be one of the early writers about the topic. Then send out a Twitter message to your followers for some traffic. The most success bloggers are like journalists and know about releases before they happen so they can write as soon as the embargo is lifted. Always use your own words.

    Good luck

You could search related news on google news or on blog search.

You cannot get unique content from another place on the web except if you write it yourself or pay someone to write the content for you. First i'll suggest that you write about things that you already know. When all your ideas are written, then you can search the web for new ideas on what to write.

    Hi,

you could get a 'targeted' feed in from google which will not be unique content but will get you some traffic, then start writing your own posts, very focused on keywords. As you get into the writing let your unique content take over.

You have write yourself and doing journalist/media task if you want "really unique hi quality content". Rewriting article from other website will not give you really unique and hi quality content.

i never create unique content, all CopyPaste..
But, if you can build a lot of backlink, you will get #top ranked google search

Im not sure if this is a wind up.

For the content to be unique, it has to come from you or a writer, how can getting content from somewhere else be unique?

I agree with Pipes, getting content from somewhere will not be unique..but I think you did not understand, I did not mean..I will copy paste the content. I Just need some idea/info/views so that i can rewrite them in my words.

    Thanks.

What i mean though is things like traffic and interest in your blog can be lower if you rewrite info that can be found elsewhere.

What people are often looking for at blogs is when they can only find that info at yours, thats when you really get some serious interest in your blog by visitors, they become loyal followers of your blog because you serve up what cant be found easily elsewhere.

Unique content doesn't really mean rewritten content which is technically unique.. I believe if you can cover some uncovered topics then thats unique content.
