Over the last week I've needed to access a specific sourceforge project which I can get to using http://ciao-elm.sourceforge.net/ but if I try to go to http://www.sourceforge.net or http://sourceforge.net I get:

but if I access the status page (http://sitedocs.sourceforge.net/status/support_sitestatus.html) I get:

SourceForge.net Web Site: Online Last updated: 2004-04-22 Pacific
I'm assuming that it's a mirror problem. Can anyone from other parts of the globe find out what's happening?

Can't tell you what the problem is, but it's the same here in the US.

i had a few times same message from sourceforge ( also paypal and other large services )
many sites go down during daily routine maintenance

it could well be that you just happen to work when they are down
since WE - nz and ph - are approx 12 or so hrs different from US time our regular daytime-working time is their maintenance time when most US sleeps and sys admins work ..

they seem to be back up now, this thread is a few days old though.

SF goes down from time to time, that is why most of the big sites have their own websites as backups to SF. Also be sure to look at www.SF.net as they usually try to only take down one or the other, or at least that is my experiance with them when they pull the site down
