Hello, someone told me that it is possible to decode Source Guardian v7 files. Is it true? Wanna know before spending lots of $ to it. thank you and regards.
anything is possible to decode, once you have the right tools and know-how. how much time it takes before it happens, depends. Source code encryption is nothing more than a 'padlock' on your code. It doesn't mean it's unbreakable, it simply means people are less likely to see it if they don't have a key to open it. Same as with padlocks themselves, you don't ask the diyshop salesperson 'is it possible to open this padlock without the right key? coz if it is, i don't wanna buy it'. that's the risk we take buying padlocks/source code encryption tools. what i can suggest though, is to go for the least-used or lesser known tool. I think pretty much everyone knows how to crack Zend, for example. But don't take my opinion for it, feel free to ask around.
Please can you tell me who told you that its possible? I have a file i purchased that is protected with SG , the seller can not be found any where. thanks
Upto now Source Guardian can be decoded by Pro's But you can go with B compiler or eaccelerator which are too tuff to decode!
