99% of the freebie section is not actual freebies... typically "freebie" : 1000000000000 backlinks catch: you have to post huge ads on your website or: you have to fill out 999 forms and refer 1000000 ppl. another "freebie": FREE LOGO/BANNER/SOMETHING FOR YOUR WEBSITE catch: You have to do 1000 offers before you get a free logo...
but you're not paying anything directly to the giver though its like you trading with a person and getting back compensation where no $0 is transferred (i'm taling about 99% scenerios, not about those complete paid offer craps)
economically speaking (economics major) ... ur wasting time. Thus you are not getting anything for free because ur giving up time to do stupid offers.
It depends on how you look at it. Some of the offers are really good and some not worth it. And the rules also changed sometime back that allowed semi-freebies to be included in the freebies section. You can't really blame anyone as everyone is trying to make a living here!

Well not everything in there is free since anything under $5 goes there. Also, if you are looking for something in particular then create a thread. If you are looking for a free custom made logo, then you are a bit on the stingy side because that's not fair to the person who's making it, you should be prepared to give something back... if not your money, then your time. TANSTAAFL.

Well what did you expect to see there? People posting things like "reply here and I will give you x amount of dollars"? I find it to be a nice section where you can find some decent information from time to time. Or just to get that 1 dollar on your paypal so you can pay for that subscription/product that you wanted to get, but you were short. Obviously there are some bad deals out there, stay away from those
