    Why do so many people have a link to alivedirectory.com?

    Did they buy a link in your signature for 100$ or so? :)

    My view: Alive Web Directory is just another directory with the intention to spam internet with irrelevant pages that users access when type in something in google. It is also wrong because the paid sites get links despite of quality. It's not as tough guidelines as DMOZ have.

    To have such site is one thing, but why support it?

    It's one thing to own McDonalds, but why support it?

    Domain is only 6 months old, it would definetely gain PR in the next update. Chris is doing a lot of work for this website and spending a lot of $$$ as well. Its a nice directory.
