When you are faced with this question as an Internet Marketer, how do you respond to the "so what do you do for a living" question that you are ultimately asked whether you are on a date, or you just bumped into an old friend on the street that you haven't seen for years? Are you able to show them a business card and direct them to your popular website filled with gizmos and gadgets? Or do you "stumble" to explain what exactly it is you do? Either way, give me your best 30 second elevator pitch. Ready?...3...2..1...go! Sooo... What do you do for a living?
I just tell them I work in marketing, being somewhat vague on what I do with people who are not that close to me. I find that people think it is really interesting what I do nonetheless, it's not a common "profession" so to speak.
It is really difficult to make them understand what you do exactly on internet. If you say that you do internet marketing then they would start asking more, how do you get payment etc...the thing is they don't believe that money can be made using internet as well. However, they know that this person work at home, he doesn't go anywhere to work.. so I have to convince them.. I simply say that I am working for a company...
