You know what is funny is i cant remember who said this but here a quote that went somthing like this

"Its funny your hard working trying to live the american dream and some idiot who is a complete loser who cant make it in the private sector regulates you and then you dream slips out of your grasp because some idiot who has nothing better to do starts ruining your life."

Funny how that is so true. Think how many people were making a ton of money untill the goverment made it illegal to grow pot. Funny how cigarates are far worse yet we been brainwashed to think pot is so bad and yet beer and cigarates are far less worse.

Ive been reading the endorsement guides notice about the revised rules for advertising and all of that. I'm wondering what is supposed to change here or for an example of what it used to be like to how the new format for pitching something would look like.

Do I write my review of a product on my landing page, then write "by the way I get paid if you buy this...try not to let that influence your decision or opinion of me, though"?

    *edit*

It seems to me that as long as we put up a transparent disclosure policy link on every page on our sites AND back up any testimonials we make about a product (eg. pasting a stock quote's positive performance image on our review site for a stock pick we received from a pick generator program), we should be covered, yes?

Important new info in the other thread. Basically the FTC backed down and said they aren't going to issue fines BUT you still need to disclose and it talks more about HOW you need to disclose and how they are going to be enforcing this.

Also in the other thread I link to a DYNAMITE Disclosure Policy Generator that has the perfect wording and is customized for your particular needs.

Here's that other thread with all the new info.
