Ok so i've been dealing with this and i need a fresh set of eyes to help me. I run Sony Vegas 10 HD Platinum to edi t my videos and when editing the video the preview is extremely slow & buggy. I seem to be having a Ram problem but when i look, not that many programs are running or eating up my RAM. What are some good ways to speed up the live preview whil in editing mode?

what resolution have u set in your preview? if it's the best quality, then it may become slow & buggy, use a lower resolution.

1 What is your CPU, GPU and ram?
    2. How many effects are you using?
    2. As rikv said, what resolution do you have your preview set to?
I've never had a problem with 720p Vegas 10 previews (at Best/Full) on my relatively wimpy i5 760 + 8GB RAM.. but I only run very basic effects and transitions most of the time.

to be able to check what you are editing, a full resolution isn't really needed.
