Somone want to reveiw my overhauled blog ?

After almost 2 years i've moved from Blogger to my own WordPress blog. Please have a look at let me know what you think. I'm going for the simple and functional look.

Wow! It's ugly. (I know, that's the look you are going for.. )

Your blog is excellent (and I would say that even if you hadn't paid me to put it in my location spot). It's so nice to see a blog that is not overrun with all the "in your face" advertising. Your blog has to live or die on it's content, and you do a great job with that. Your readers are not going to come because it's cool or flashy or sexy... They are there for your content and only your content. And that's what's going to keep them coming back.

I like your layout. Its simple but not boring. Your articles are well written and entertaining. All in all I'd say that you have a really good blog. Its cool that you're thinking about offering free blog reviews

I like these kinds of blog which are simple but well written. There doesn't have to be shiny stars or whatever, simple is just nice

 

Overall, the site looks good. I'd probably give the header and logo a bit more of a defined look.

 

40 diggs on both of your article?

Anyways, design wise: you need a new header, don't use a gradient like that with the white font ... you need something solid , bold and stands out..

 

Blog content looks good but you need to change the header though.

 

actually, the 40 on the two posts are both for only the FIRST post..

now i'll have to figure out how to change the header.. or maybe i'll find a new theme..

 

Wow your blog is very nice. Good writing and everything. Very interesting read. Especially your fight with hotmail. Interesting read!

 

Maybe if you just changed the font color of your subtitle to a darker blue. Then it wouldn't get lost in the gradient...

 

Excellent read... but area is too wide... not to keen on the design... could be worked on abit more... especially considering the content inside it...

ok.. i took some of ya'lls advice and scraped that entire theme and went with a totally new one.. So NOW how does it look ??

Oh, yeah. Maybe because you paid me to read your blog for a month... Or at least to say I'm reading it in my location spot.

I think that looks a lot better. It's brighter and everything is more readable. It's still simple (in keeping with your "ugly" theme) but it's bolder and seems more confidant.

I guess I don't care for the comments link being at the top of the post instead of at the bottom, but that's a minor detail and probably not worth worrying about...
