Somone please help! Is building backlinks as hard as it seems? If you do it manually it can take days. If you do mutiples, it can hurt rankings..... HAs anyone had real success with backlinking ( ie. increase in google PR, traffic increase, etc.
I do not understan what You want. do not want to work and want to have excelent result? in that case hire someone
You should build your links over time. Hiring someone is a great idea but don't have them build 1000 links in a week, that would be bad.
Nope, building links is not as difficult as it seems. Unless you are in a highly competitive niche (which given your link building confidence, I hope you're not) then you can use a few simple strategies to build links to your site. Have a look through these posts and you will see many of these explained in detail. 1. Write an article (include a link with your keyphrase somewhere in the content) and submit it to article directories. 2. Write another article and do the same thing again. If you're not a good writer, you can easily hire someone to do it for you - you could probably even hire someone to write and submit the articles for you. 3. Find something newsworthy about your site/industry and write a PR - submit to PR directories. Almost as easy as the article directories, although a certain writing style is usually expected. 4. Submit your site to directories - there are lists of them all over this forum. Remember to change the anchor text (title) every few times. 5. Submit your site to social bookmarking sites such as Digg and Reddit. Also make sure you have these buttons on your site so visitors can do so - the addthis button is easy to install. 6. Go on the link exchanges section of this and other forums 7. Find dofollow blogs - again plenty of posts on this already 8. Write content that people would want to link to such as a guide to such and such and contact other sites in your industry to let them know about it. A little time consuming so I would leave this untiil you've got comfortable with the other ones. If you want to know what linkworthy content is type your keywords into digg and see what gets 'digged' most. 9. Type your keyword and "add url" or "resources" or "suggest listing" etc etc into Google to find sites in your niche that have a resources type page. 10. Be creative - The most difficult but the most powerful of all. If you can think of random ways that everyone else isnt doing, chances are you are going to get rewarded for having those links. Look at your competitors backlinks, hire experts, take hallucinagenics- whatever you need to get the creative juices flowing. Haven't tried the last one myself but if all else fails Those are all pretty standard methods and between them should get you several hundred links. Dont do them all at once, and definately try to keep it below 30 links a day at the start, mix up the methods as well and you'll be fine. Once you've maxed all of these out, you'll be confident enough to start coming up with other ideas!
If you're serious about your link building, you might want to consider getting Linkvana. It's not cheap ($150/month) but it's the ultimate link building tool out there right now. You will get thousands of quality backlinks with it within a short amount of time. If you can't afford it I actually know a guy who has the account and he is making a little cash on the side (to offset his cost of membership) hooking people up with backlinks through it. He charges $2 a link, and I think $5 for 3 links. If you're interested I might be able to hook you up with him. Send me a PM, if you are.
Yeah don't spam links either, that does absolutely no good unless you get lucky. You need to have effective links to content and not the homepage, etc.
I can't say it's hard.. but I can't say it's easy. Do it regularly, and all should be fine. Yes.. a lot of hard work must be involved... but it's worthing. .... At least in my case... Here are some good tips about how to build your back links: http://www.basic-directory.com/get_backlinks_usefull_free_lists_and_seo_tools.html
Try to check on my details. I able to build 21k backlinks in just 10 weeks time. During this period, I'm able to double up my RSS/Twitter follower/Alexa/Earning counts. Trust me, backlinks do help.
Thanks for the feedback. I was under the impression I could do it quicker than I appernetly will be able to. I use webceo but I am not having much success. Manual submission seems to be working.
Backlinking is work but it's not that hard. Focus 1 hour a day. Commenting on blogs, submit articles, social bookmark. You get great results. Not over night but within a few weeks!
