It is so annoying that my website with a pr 5 with good backlinks and seo is not even in the top 1000, but yet I can find websites with a pr 4 or 3 ranking higher! How does google go by when deciding the age of a site? If it goes by domain registration , then my site is 7+ months old, if by when it was indexed by google then it is 7-6 months. I know my target keyword phrase is competitive (14k-26k searches each month) but this is getting ridiculous. I hear so many people say they get out of the sandbox after 6 months. Is this the norm or not? Meanwhile the googlebot visits my site everyday eating up my bandwidth as I am waiting to get out of the sandbox.
PR is only one factor in SEO. It's normal for the top sites to not neccesarily be the highest PR sites returned. ~Adam
