I dont know what hppened but today is my worst day, i had 5 clicks and i had been paid 5 cents, this never happened in last 6 monhs, i get atleast $1 for 5 clicks, is this the same for you all? All the ads are same and they are in the same positions. Any suggestions please. Ravi
Argh, why people why? This is normal, why can't people realize that one day they'll make a lot of money and the next day they'll make nothing.
Yesterday was my best day yet and today appears to be going well too. Focus on building traffic, because adsense varies from day to day.
See what happens over the next few days. Keywords can lose value, you can be smart priced, maybe you didn't get as much traffic, maybe the advertiser paying $.20/click stopped advertising. People gotta have patience. It happens to everyone. Worry when you're making $100/day and it goes down to $.05/day. Not when you only get 5 clicks. -boxer126
The difference in rate is negligable. The prices of certain things fluctuate every single day. There are too many factors that could be the cause of this. Don't worry mate lifes a rollercoaster and adsense is no different. Some days you go up and others, you fall.

@kks: that isn't the reason..google has made the clickable area to be the text only so as the reader wont be able to click than how do you thing charging rate is related that. This change of Google is going to affect the number of clicks we get per day!
Google adsense fluxtuates a lot, thats all if it keeps happening over a week or two, then post saying omg" whats happening i used to be making 5 million a week now i am down to £1 :O:O" Will.

If all you get is 5 clicks you need to worry about traffic not how much money per click. This is a game of thousands of clicks not five.
The same thing happened to me yesterday. Then I found out about the change in the clickable area of adsense ads. I changed the colors of the ads so that the url and the title were the same color, then changed the text portion to a very subtle color. Today my ctr rebounded to almost where it was. Give it a try and see how it works for you. (and yes, you will need more than 5 clicks to be able to analyze)
My earnings are also decreased. From last 1 week onwards my earnings are good. But today my earnings were decreased.
