Something weird...

Soo, I woke up this morning and checked my account. For the past month or so I've been promoting only one product. This morning I had another sale, with the same commision. However, when I checked the transactions and analytics, that sale is recorded under a completely differend vendor, which is not even in the same niche. I checked the vendor on clickbank's marketplace, and it's not even offering that commision, it's a lot less  . Anyone had this happened to them recently, or have any explanation for it? :)

    Backend sell .
it is not unusual for vendors to have products in unrelated niches.
if it is different product then the vendor id will be different.
But why the commission is lower?
    Simple Explanation.
in The backend your referred customer was offered a cheaper version of a particular product, belonging to the same vendor in a different niche. That was an offer he could not refuse. As the second product was his (vendor's) so the vendor did not change the hop (your referral id). So the default hop of yours got to that product and you got the commission.
Though he could have incorporated his hop link instead to get more money.
    explanation?
    1.He is a good vendor.
2.The second product is also his.
    3.orrrr, he is an idiot.
Anyways, it is good for you, enjoy.
