I checked my News site earlier and found that it had more clicks than impressions, how can that be possible. I am trying to build a my adsense up and I dont want to break any rules so can anyone tell me how you can more clicks than views, thank you.
Wow! That's a wild one. Sometimes I get a click with zero impressions, but that resolves after a little while. Sometimes Google will report a click, and then later the impressions, but always within 24 hours. If, after 24 hours, it still looks weird, I would contact AdSense, and ask "What's going on?"
depends on how many impression and how many clicks u got. if 2 people can visit a site and one ,ight click once and other twice giving you 3 clicks for 2 impressions. but that data doesnt mean anything unless you have some decent amount of impression/click ratio
If you have more clicks than impressions then it means someone has clicked your ads twice (or more). If it's just one or two clicks, then that's fine, but if you have something like a 500% + CTR then you should report it. Quite often, as the day goes through and you get more PIs, the CTR will go back down to normal
It's not something that you should be alarmed of unless the ctr goes way too high like maybe 20%. In fact higher clicks more than impression is not something impossible. Imagine during the rollover process and the stats for that particular day goes to zero and then a person who visits your site look through 2 pages and click the ads 3 times.
does that mean you have a ctr of over 100%? that's weird yes but in a good way. if you're not doing anything against the adsense policies then i guess it's ok
If you have a low number of impressions (like under 100 or so) it's quite common to have high CTRs. I've seen 60-80%. If you have like 4 impressions it'd be easy to get 150-200% CTR
