I'm not totaly shure what you need, but if you need softwear like ms excel then download openoffice 2.0 (openoffice.org). I think that compilation of office softwear include "calc" that works like excel. Or maybe is one of other programs that openoffice have. I use it for 2 years now and I love it. But I use "writer" only. It works like "winword". And is free.

    John,

As Chr1s, Pixel Hut and Zorus had stated... Open Office is the way to go.

It is a free. It may not be quite as user friendly as the MS version ...But it does the job just fine. It can be found at http://www.openoffice.org/ .

Again, it is the closest thing you will get to Microsoft's version ...and it is FREE.

OpenOffice is really the only alternative out there. They can open and save as Excel sheets, have all or most of the Excel bells and whistles and is relatively intuitive for an Excel user - some slight differences,, but it is free after all.
