I recently observed that Google has started showing URL just below the Title in the query results. Earlier the URL were shown last ( 3rd Position ). Right know the description were shown second now they are shown in the last. Any guess Why ?
My guess is they placed it there because it's easier for the eyes to find and read in that position. And it gives a cleaner look to the overall page. Ej
Google Change their layout and design. In few day google gives the priority on twitter feeds for search results.
Everything is possible because it's Google's strategy as every website need regular update content that you do, why?
It's probably that aesthetically it looks better when Google +1 is used and as that is in Beta (well sort of) and on the horizon - having the +1 further down as the URL was b4 would make things look more fragmented and less closely associated with the correct URL at first (or a quick) glance.
1,000,000 guesses to know why they did it, but, as all of us do the same, they are experimenting with how things look and how they can make it more and more user, searcher and reader friendly.. Personally, I think its crappy as hell, but, if we want to join in on Google we have to like what they do and give them what they want...LMAO! GC
Google is just testing the placement of it. Here is an article about it. http://www.seroundtable.com/google-url-above-snippet-13470.html
Google is improving their service quality. They are trying to reach to every people of all over the world. They also have changed some features in gmail.
