Something More Flashy?

Could you please review one of my websites?

The site deals with the history and stamps of the Cape of Good Hope Postal History of the Cape of Good Hope

I gave it a bit of an alternative look as it deals with history. I did not want it to look as it came out of the box. The dark blue colour gives it a bit of an authority.

Should I change to something like a Joomla look?

 

My feedback: main text font is too large. Navigation font is difficult to read. I would centre the site. I would lose the blue background.

I like arial, boring maybe but fresh, modern and very readable
