I know Moneybookers but I heard that we can't transfer money from Moneybookers to Paypal and from Paypal to Moneybookers.

Thats true. You can't transfer money from MB to Paypal and Paypal to MB as they both not allowed that.

Eddy2099 uses plimus and is quite happy with it.

I think he sells digital software.

And when you need the opinion of somebody in this sub forum, who better than Eddy himself ?

He should hopefully post here when he sees the thread.

AlertPay is gaining popularity...I doubt if any of the alternatives would have a user base like paypal ever.

cc=credit card...but I think moneybookers can accept CC payments (guess you have to upgrade to a merchant account to do that)

I've used Plimus as a merchant. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for, they are VERY good at what they provide.

Ah yes, I just woke up so I missed this thread.

Yes, I have been using Plimus for over 2 years now and found them to be very professional. In fact, they are actually in for the big business and they do spend a lot to mitigate fraud and increased buyer's experience.

They are a whole lot more expensive than some but I use them because I have a peace of mind with them. In fact, recently they bend their backs a little to help me. I had a government client who wanted to purchase my software and they only do Purchase Order. Plimus supports that but only if the dollar value is above $100. The order was for something about $70ish but Plimus allows for the PO to be used for this order.

If you have any questions about Plimus, feel free to ask. Actually, with Plimus I am now able to sleep at night because I know that everything would run smoothly.

    Fine..
saw the posts for plimus and am also looking for some other payment processor since paypal hurts me very much with limited accounts and customer hv to login to paypal to pay etc.,

By the By, @eddy ,could you tell me whether plimus accepts websites which sell ebooks(once paid, customers can download from the site)

And if the customer has made purchase, what will his cc statement show?
Will it show our name or will it show only Plimus

becoz Clickbank transactions show as Clickbank on CC statment

    Hope to get reply
