I started hdbliss.co.uk at the beginning of April.

    Stats:

    Unique Visitors: 1072
    Number of Visits: 1655
    Pages: 7960
    Hits: 30572
    Bandwidth: 499.39MB (308.38KB/visit)

I set up my Adsense mid-way through, at about the 8th of April, and I've only received 3 clicks so far, totaling $0.24. This doesn't seem right according to what I've been reading around here, of people making $8/20 a day from 2000 visits. Meaning, I should have at LEAST $1. :(

Maybe it's just 'cause the site is new.

So far, I have submitted the site to 300 directories and bought 2,000uv, of which I've only seen about 400 to be honest.

Google shows over 1,000 page hits, but still ony 3 clicks out of that.

The site is in my signature. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is this simply a waiting game? Maybe I'm just expecting too much, too soon.

    Thanks.

Oh, and I'm already indexed in Google, Yahoo, Alexa and many others. Their bots search my site every few days. I have two sitemap generators running that are compatible with Google and Yahoo, and submitted automatically, daily.

So far, I've had 50 Google search results end up at my site for TV names, including my keywords and for 'review' and 'specs' a lot.

I just think, maybe the ads put the users off, but I think I've intergrated them into the site, well.

A blog usually gets lower CTR.
You need to optimize adsense in two ways: 1. to be well implemented within the content 2. not to exaggerate, because you will end up losing your user base.

For a blog, you might have better luck selling links and blog posts. Blogs just aren't setup as well for adsense.
