I shall install Wordpress on a domain i have but cant remove the old files in the folder of the domain. I'm using "Fantastico installer" to install WP and never had this problem before.

    Gets this message.
    - You chose to install in the main directory of the domain free*****templates.com, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain free*****templates.com (path="/home/egrahorg/public_html/free*****templates.com/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
    wp-admin
    wp-content
    wp-includes

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.

I tried to remove all files and it looks like it works but they are still there for some reason.

I tried to log out and in. Still not working... Help please

Do you have an ftp access? Just access though ftp and delete those folders. If that doesn't help, contact your host.

Removing an addon domain wil not delete the folder for that domain.

Do you have SSH access? Do you own the server where the files are present?

You will have to sort the permissions out in order to delete them. If you don't have the access to SSH, then ask your host to change the owners of the file and it should fix it.
