Hi Guys, I have something interesting to share. I had bought a Domain with valid Google PR from Godaddy Auctions Well PR was not the reason to purchase the domain as it was very Low but I liked the domain so I purchased it. But then after purchasing, I didn't look to that domain for sometime , Few weeks, And Suddenly I saw PR was lost and started showing Unranked / NA . Anyways I was focusing on other stuffs , So I couldn't provide time to my domain name earlier and as I said Google PR was on lower side. Now after that much amount of time spent, I came back to this domain to re-develop for myself. So I moved it to another HOST other then Godaddy , And this HOST provides dedicated IP's . 2days after moving to New HOST, I can see that the same PR number is back which was unranked for almost 3 or 4weeks . Is it because of HOST MOVE ? Or In precise because of the shared hosting at Godaddy vs Dedicated IP ? Anyways this turned out to be an experiment for me, I am glad . But in anycase the PR is low and I had no intention in Google PR, The domain name was very good quality so I liked it and purchased it Thanks and Regards, Merlin
I guess google thinks that the "probability" of having good content is more in those sites than sites hosted in shared and free hosting...
I heard "stories", that dedicated IP made a magic and returned dropped PR. But Google's officials said, that dedicated IP has nothing to do with any of Google's rankings. In my opinion, time passed, contents changed and it made the effect.
