you got mail! Got to share this with you all. I recently opened a new gmail account using Yahoo mail as the sign up address. Obviously gmail requires you to validate your new account by sending a confirmation email to the one you signed up with, (in this case my Yahoo email.) Anyway I go to Yahoo and check to see if the gmail confirmation email has arrived. I wait and wait still nothing in my Yahoo inbox. After a while I notice that I have 1 spam, so out of curiosity (thinking it was another "get rich quick with Viagra, phallus enlargement accompanied with a breast extension whilst I lose weight with funky tea from china and win the Nigerian lottery courtesy of USA government grants.") Nope it was the confirmation email from Google. Guess that's what Yahoo's email service thinks of Google emails! haha
simply brilliant. I remember when I as working in an office a yer back my boss' email used to come in my spambox in gmail. Both of us used to have a gmail adress though!!
A simple as that, all the competitors hates each others business aspects. may be they are doing this intentionally? but that's part of the game IMO.
I have both yahoo and gmail accounts but yahoo is full of spams. Lotteries, viagra, work-at-home you name it, I got it. It is really annoying.
if you have bulk folder enabled any confirmation email will be sent to the bulk folder because it has a link in the email.has nothing to do with who sent it. why would you need to confirm your email when you sign up for a free email? don't people sign up for a free email account because they don't have a email or they can't/don't want to use isp email? you would have to get a yahoo email so you can sign up with gmail, that's what i find funny.
