There are many companies, zoogle, black label ads(Adult) adbrite, many smaller companies, but i bet you my bottom dollar you don't find anything close to adsense, good luck
For PPC adsense is going to pay the most. But, you could make your own text link ads or image ads by becoming an Affiliate of Clickbank products related to your niche and posting affiliate links or banners on your sites. If you make 1 sale of a product every 100 clicks, and each product pays you $40 per sale, that is like getting $40 cents per click, which is pretty good.
Infolinks is good. It works fine in some of my blogs. But in order to succeed here, you need huge volume of traffic.
There are too many of them such as kontera, bidvertiser, clicksor, blacklabelads ect. You can actually get many of them from DP pay per click advertising section
Before Adsense approved me, I tried Adbrite and I must say Adsense pay more. Another factor is Adbrite's ad don't usually appear.
