    hey,

just wondering if I can find out what blasted my twitter followers.

because I gained quite a bunch of new follerwers in the last 24h.

not sure if it was using keywords in my tweets (just on post I used them in) or if there is another reason (the only thing I did was follownig perrybelcher)

do you know if there is a way to find it out or how to improove the keyword thing?

I only had my link on my blog and on a german webhosting board but all guys that added me are americans so that can't be the reason.

The only thing I did was that I tried to post a keyword in a single tweet some days ago

May be the keyword may be the reason for this boost in your followers.

It's probably because everyone and their mother is preaching that you should go around following anyone and everyone in hopes that they'll follow you back. I'd be willing to be that a lot of people following Perry have this mind set.

It could be the reason, at least some of the reason.

Keywords are also important. If you use gaza and/or Israel, you will probably get a few extra followers.

Did you add yourself to some of the twitter directories?

Well, I've gone up to 11 followers so I'm not doing terribly bad.
