This is my first time to hear "Scientific Name", So i don't know what it is, then I search on GG and find that its first part is Genus Name and The second part is Species Name. Really so, but I still can't understand it well. Anyone can explain it to me?
Yes, For example, before start research scientist's make a scientific name for a product, it is easy for all scientists in the world, otherwise same product pronounced differently in easy country.
Scientific names do not commonly have anything to do with the common name we use. They are Latin and/or Greek names assigned by botanists to plants describing a plant's characteristics, or honoring a person with part of that person's name, or commemorating the place the plant was first found, or describing a relation between one particular plant and another plant.
A Scientific Name is the name that follow a set of international rules so that people in different regions will be able to understand a name in the same way (refer to the same thing when using that name)
